French guitarist Claude Bourbon is known in Europe and America for his exquisite fingerpicking style that takes classical, blues, Spanish, and Middle Eastern music into uncharted territories. This unique performer will grace the stage at the Hillsboro Community Center Sunday, June 2, at 3pm.
Now based in the UK, Claude Bourbon weaves his songs as if on a journey through life, reflecting his European cultural roots, blending classical openings that might grace the courts of kings, with the earthy rhythms of the Mississippi Delta, romantic jazz, and contemporary folk. (claudebourbon.org)
