Join Ted Turner Expeditions on a special ‘Moonrise’ tour of Ladder Ranch’s rock art sites on Tuesday, December 13th, 2016.
Ted Turner’s sprawling Ladder Ranch is an unspoiled sanctuary spanning over 150,000 acres which boasts several anthropologically important sites, including habitation sites of both Mimbres-era peoples and Warm Springs Apaches. The Ladder’s pristine Palomas Creek area, in addition to being a natural wonder, is the location of some of the most intriguing petroglyphs in Southern New Mexico.
This special rock art tour will give you a chance to view some beautiful examples of Native American rock art, and perhaps find new specimens yourself. After exploring the Palomas Creek valley, your Ted Turner Expeditions guide will time your departure to take advantage of both broad vistas and the rising full moon- creating the perfect photo op.
In order to maintain a low-impact experience, this tour is limited to four guests and offered at a special rate- this special 5-hour tour is likely to fill up fast- book today to reserve your spot!
