The collaborative display of artistic perceptions in Other World invites mind gazing into unchartered territory and suggests that we consider the ways that we look at life.

Jia Apple is a lifelong artist currently residing in Colorado. Her work has primarily touched on styles of realism, illustrative fantasy as well as a colorful and playful display of simplicity. She continues to explore expressions of images with meaning and significance to the viewer as well as revealing her personal life and values through the magic of the canvas. She has had gallery shows in Illinois, Colorado and New Mexico featuring works of pen and ink, oils, watercolor, acrylic and graphite. She has also extended her skills to the production and teaching of murals in New Mexico. She has a graphite portrait hanging in the MIT Library and works as a commissioned artist. Thepictureseer.com

Having saved painting for her 50th birthday Wendy Tremayne made a change from conceptual art to painting in oil in September of 2017. She started out following Remedios Varo and Ilya Zomb, painters who explore the boundaries between real and imagined. Her portraits ask us to follow the interests and experiences of her subjects who are at times imaginary characters such as the reaper and the seven sisters of the pleiades. Wendy’s recent paintings are self-referential with personal narratives that let us in on her nature defying version of reality. Gaiatreehouse.com
