The collaborative display of artistic perceptions in Other World invites mind gazing into unchartered territory and suggests that we consider the ways that we look at life.

Having saved painting for her 50th birthday Wendy Tremayne made a change from conceptual art to painting in oil in September of 2017. She started out following Remedios Varo and Ilya Zomb, painters who explore the boundaries between real and imagined. Her portraits ask us to follow the interests and experiences of her subjects who are at times imaginary characters such as the reaper and the seven sisters of the pleiades. Wendy’s recent paintings are self-referential with personal narratives that let us in on her nature defying version of reality. Gaiatreehouse.com
