The 44th Army Band is touring NM, offering a free concert to celebrate American independence. Sponsored by the Sierra County Arts Council, New Mexico’s National Guard Army band will entertain with four different groups, including a brass band, a rock-and-roll band, a saxophone ensemble, and a mariachi band. Music selections will range from the traditional armed forces medley, to classic rock songs, to contemporary music from The Incredibles and Miley Cyrus, plus Mariachi classics such as Mujeres Divina and Volver.

Come celebrate America’s cultural heritage with a free concert from New Mexico’s own 44th Army Reserve Band, Saturday, July 7 at 6pm, in the Truth or Consequences Civic Center.
