Please join us for Caballo Lake State Park’s 1st Annual Kids Fishing Derby. Registration begins at 8:00am at the boat ramp and fishing takes place from 9am-12pm. Weigh in is at 12:30pm. There is a $10 registration fee per child. There are two age groups (7 and under, 8-15). Trophies will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place winners in the categories of Longest Fish & Most Fish for each age group. Bait will be supplied. There will also be free hot dogs sponsored by Baquera’s Grocery & Lil Abner’s. This event is hosted by the Friends of Caballo and Percha State Parks.
Cost: $5 park entrance fee
