Elvis & Marilyn coming to T or C! Tickets on sale now!
STEAMpunks Creative Center will be hosting a benefit concert and New Year celebration to raise capital and operational support for new programs at the center and in Sierra County.
This event will feature “The King & Marilyn” headlining performance. Fans of 1950’s rock n roll have never experienced a show like this before, two influential superstars performing together live on stage. One of the most musically and visually satisfying tribute concerts in the world, and the only of its kind. The King & Marilyn provides audiences with exactly what they’d hope to see and hear, meticulously and respectfully recreating the electrifying musical excitement of the 1950s and early 1960s. Capturing the unique personality, physicality and charm as well as the authentic wardrobe, hairstyle, era-appropriate instruments and the songs that forever changed the world, performed completely live on stage.
Join The King & Marilyn on the journey back to The Golden Age of Entertainment!
The vision of STEAMpunks Creative Center is to open a student-led Print Shop and Computer Repair Shop, teaching youth valuable 21st-century skills and entrepreneurship, while generating sustainable program income for the Creative Center. This would include equipment such as shredders and extruders to divert plastic from the landfill and recycle it into 3D filament for our printers to make new products. Our programs will not only teach valuable career readiness and job skills but also address real-world problems by providing sustainable solutions to environmental issues.
