Community Yoga

Please feel welcome at Community Yoga Class. We’re in our 13th year in Truth or Consequences. In this class we practice classic hatha yoga led by Wendy Tremayne. At the start of our year (November) classes focus on instruction, how to do the postures. As we move into winter and towards spring we gradually shift to a vinyasa style class. We practice putting into flow that all that we learned in our first lessons.  Classes begin and end with a lessons on meditation and instructions for breathing.

Yoga is a life-practice that ebbs and flows and in it’s movements points to us to something living. The discovery reveals the very essence of life. The yogi knows how to stay home within her(his)self and this solid ground is the seedbed for handling difficulty and taking in joy.
